Description: Sometimes there are basic educational needs an adult must pick up, if they weren't offered the chance at a younger age. For instance, adult immigrants to the United States may need to take an ESL (English as a Second Language) course to obtain a job. At other times, those above the age of 16 may be seeking to earn their GED, while others may need to pick up basic reading, writing and math skills. Adult Education Instructors help students learn these skills in a healthy, productive environment. Although some Instructors may obtain a position in this field with a Bachelor's degree, some colleges will require a Master's degree.
