Description: Dietetic Technicians work under the supervision of a Dietitian or a Nutritionist. They perform a variety of tasks, such as assisting with the provision of nutritional programs and food services, teaching principals of nutrition, providing general counsel and planning meals.Dietetic Technicians generally have a high school diploma or its equivalent. If they wish to continue on as a dietitian, they must earn a Bachelor's degree in dietetics, clinical nutrition, foods and nutrition or a related field of study.
