Description: Physical Therapist Aides work under the direction of a physical therapist. While Therapist Assistants help more directly with a patient's recovery, an Aide focuses on indirect care, such as moving a patient between rooms and setting up the treatment area. Physical Therapist Aides generally have a high school diploma or its equivalent. They learn clinical skills through on-the-job training.
