Description: Medical Assistants perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks that keep hospitals and other patient care centers running smoothly. They may be involved in triage, collecting blood or urine samples, recording medical history and contacting insurance agencies. Medical Assistants usually have at least a high school degree or its equivalent and have complete some postsecondary education.
