Description: Animal Caregivers take care of both wild and domestic animals that live in zoos, parks or residential areas. This job typically requires two to four years of college education in animal science, biology, or a related field. Many employers prefer to hire individuals who have experience caring for animals at farms, animal shelters, and veterinary offices. Experience as a zoo volunteer is also helpful.
