Mail Carriers deliver mail to businesses and residential homes in cities, rural areas and suburban towns. Each carrier usually works along a designated route. Mail Carriers typically have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent. However, there is no formal educational requirement. Mail Carriers must pass a written test, background check, physical examination and drug test. They will then undergo the necessary training to perform their job.
