Description: If you live in a city that is subject to winter climate changes, then you probably have a boiler in your home. Boiler Mechanics assemble, repair and maintain boiler systems for households and commercial environments. They are also used in several industrial environments that work with the storage and use of large quantities of liquids and gases. Boiler Mechanics obtain a high school diploma or GED before continuing their education with a 5-year apprenticeship. During this time, they will receive both technical training and perform paid on-the-job training.
