Description: Maintenance Technicians repair, inspect, replace and maintain electrical and mechanical systems in commercial and residential buildings and other structures. Job tasks may include carpentry, ventilation, heating and HVAC work. No formal post-secondary education is required for this position. However, many Maintenance Technicians may attend a technical trade school or take on a yearlong apprenticeship.
