Description: Not all consumer products travel from city to city via airplane. Many freight items arrive at their destination through tractor-trailers that move cargo, exceeding 26,000 pounds. Heavy/Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers are responsible for driving goods over long distances, often through several states. Typically, Heavy/Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers have a high school degree or its equivalent and attend a truck driving school. Once they have their commercial driver's license (CDL), they are able to apply to the position.
